Antique Store Find

I had a lot of driving to do over the last 24 hours and needed to stretch my legs out a bit.

I found a cute little antique shop in a small town I was passing through.
I love antique shops. I could spend all of my hours & all of my money in them.
And this particular one didn't let me down. I came across an adorable booth that I could have spent the day looking through.
I could tell if I met the owner of this booth, we would be instant friends!
It was full of various antique craft & sewing supplies....
... and many adorable handmade items.
I was in a hurry so I couldn't spend as much time shopping as I would have liked but I did snag one cute thing -- this bag of gorgeous antique lace.
Now I'll be on the lookout for the perfect project to use this for. I'm thinking a beautiful dress for my daughter and maybe a cute little clutch for myself.
I'll keep you posted with progress!

Do you ever shop in antique stores or thrift stores?
If so, do you have a favorite store or do you enjoy trying out random ones you stumble upon?

Hi, my name is...

"If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make the change."
-Michael Jackson (I love that line from his song, Man in the Mirror. It's such an inspiration & challenge.)

Hello lovely followers! My name is Becky and I want to take a quick moment to introduce myself to you all.
First and foremost, I am a Christ-follower. I love the Lord and strive daily to grow my relationship with Him.
Second, I am a wife. My husband is a children's pastor at our church and runs the animation department for the children's curriculum that is created in-house and seen all over the world. He's wonderful and brings me great joy & helps me grow!
Third, I am a mother. I have a beautiful and smart 2.5 year-old daughter. She lights up my life and keeps me on my toes every single day. I also have a joyful & silly 10-month old son. He always makes me smile & his snuggles melt my heart.
I am blessed to lead this full life.
And as my career, I am a Realtor. I stumbled upon this career that began as a part-time assistant position. I quickly grew to love this line of work. I eventually got my real estate license and I have been enjoying the ride ever since. Every client has a different & unique story. And I get to help people with one of the most important purchases of their life!

In my spare time I love to bake, sew, and do various craft projects. Pinterest is my weakness and my love. I will be sharing different projects I try out with you.
I always have a whirlwind of ideas & thoughts swarming around in my head -- and I can't wait to share the ride of my life with you all.

Thank you for stopping by -- please return soon!
